Even though the technology industry seems to be dominated by men at times, this is changing as each day goes by. The fact of the matter is that more and more women are getting involved with technology. They have a lot to lend the many sectors of this industry, and this is becoming evident to everybody involved.
Take for example Mary Rodino. She was recently named the Chief Marketing Officer of CIMCO Communications, a provider of voice and data solutions. This is one of the fastest growing fields with the technology industry, and CIMCO has put their faith in Rodino to take the company’s sales and marketing efforts to the next level.
Another woman on her way up is Laura Altergott. She was recently promoted to the Director of Information Systems for the Chicago Botanic Garden. Altergott will be responsible for pretty much anything that has to do with the company’s infrastructure including all software and hardware installations and troubleshooting.
As each day goes by, more women are getting involved in the technology industry. This trend will surely change things for the better in the near future.
