The iPhone gets an update

Apple released an update for the phones software package, this makes the current version 1.0.2 no doubt there will be many more to come over the months and years to come.

Apparently the update was to fix a few bugs, but that was all that the accompanying notes stated, so who are we to doubt that at this very early stage. After all there are bound to be an element of bugs and quick fixes as the phone settles down into daily use.

But as with many updates and the notes that follow them, the exact details of what the problem was and what was done to fix it, are just a little shady to say the least.

These updates are made available only when the iPhone is connected to the users computer, this is done through iTunes where the update can be downloaded and then installed onto the phone itself, a fairly neat way of doing it.

There may be some problems though, if the user has made any hacks, if there are any a complete system restore would be necessary, after which the update will then only take a couple of minutes to complete. With any luck, well shouldn’t say that anyway.
