The Hackers Academy

The threat to your computer from outside attack has never been greater than it is today, up 185 percent since last year. These hackers are becoming more sophisticated and what is worse, organised. There cannot be anything more dangerous to computer security than a huge organised gang of hackers, who are sharing information and tools.
The hacking academy sells hacking software to aspiring hackers. It’s run like a pyramid sales business: As more new recruits come on board they are encouraged to recruit and sell to even more new recruits and so on. The people at the top make all of the money for little risk, while the new brigade make little money and take all of the risk, but that is how it works.
For about $1,000 you can buy ready-made websites designed to relieve unsuspecting people of their personal and banking details. There is even a piece of software that can open up a back door in the gmail system. The villains send out hundreds of emails, yet it only takes one person to click on the link. Once there, a filter is written for the user’s gmail account, then every time the user receives an email with an attachment it will be forwarded on to collect@evil.com. The user has no idea that his or her attachments are being forwarded, unless they happen to go to the settings and check the filters.
This may be a good time to into computer security, for now more than ever is the threat out there just waiting for someone to make a simple mistake.
