Research in Motion (RIM) has announced the availability of BlackBerry Professional Software. Those who do not use a BlackBerry will not be able to put this software to good use. But with that being said, the release of this software may be reason enough to purchase a BlackBerry device.

BlackBerry Professional Software is designed and priced specifically for small to mid-sized businesses. This is not to say that the solution will not meet the needs of larger companies, but its primary target are those with fewer employees (30 or less) and a smaller budget for technology related items.

BlackBerry Professional Software can be used by up to 30 members of the same company. For five users, the cost of this program is $499. This makes it easy for small to mid-sized operations to purchase exactly what they need without overspending.

With this software, employees will be able to better communicate thanks to wireless access to the internet and email applications. Just like all BlackBerry products, the software is easy to install and simple to use.

Overall, RIM has once again released a top of the line solution for those companies who are smart enough to use BlackBerry devices. This time around, small and mid-sized businesses are the ones who are benefiting the most.
