There is no denying that the enterprise software industry is full of competition. Some companies are better known than others, but that does not necessarily mean that they are better overall. The firms that are not as well known need to offer features that will get them noticed. One of the best things that they can do is offer a user friendly interface; this holds true for every enterprise software company.
There are many reasons that a friendly user interface is important. First off, it will attract new customers. End users that are in the market are sure to migrate towards the vendors that offer an easy to follow and understand interface. After all, nobody likes to be confused and face a high learning curve.
Of course, the better the user interface the better chance companies have of keeping their existing clientele. One of the main reasons that a customer would change software applications is if they are having a difficult time understanding and learning.
User interface should be high priority for every enterprise software company. The companies that concentrate on this area will have the best chance of higher growth and profits in the foreseeable future.
