CDC Software is a manufacturer of a wide variety of enterprise software solutions that are geared towards several key industries. Most recently, the luxury retailer Harvey Nichols has taken notice of what CDC’s MarketFirst software has to offer. Generally speaking, the store is using this solution as a way of increasing the experience of customers.

What is Harvey Nichols looking to get out of this software? Generally speaking, they are hoping that the addition will help to increase the amount of money that each customer spends. This will be done through monitoring a customer’s spending habits, and then translating the information into useful tidbits that can be used at the point of sale.
